You have to take a look at this article from Teach Hub! http://www.teachhub.com/free-interactive-whiteboard-resources#comment-67065 They have developed a list of the best FREE interactive whiteboard resources. Some of the sites I already use: SpellingCity, Promethean Planet, FunBrain. However, there are so many that are brand new to me. I can't wait to use them with my students! The list was just too good not to share.

Thanks for sharing these from teach hub! Some of these programs can be expensive especially when the school districts are in a tight financial budgets. My school in Northern New Jersey just put in place interactive whiteboards to enhance the learning experience for the children. At first I was a little bit skeptical, but I guess we have to get with the times and jump on any technology that can help engage the students. Even for the lower level class rooms, Scholastic offers some fun and great activities for the students. I have seen progress in using these but I am not sure if I can handle ipads and ipods next ! ! !
